It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucy Lydia Makebish of Rhinebeck, New York, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on August 16, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew S. Ambrosio and May Ambrosio (Curti); and her husband Peter Makebish. She is survived by: her sons, Peter and Andrew (Ana); and her grandchildren, Miry, Lucy, Leo, Aliyah, Ava Lou and Micah.

Memorial donations in honor of Lucy can be made to the Rhinebeck Starr Library.
