Kathleen Kennedy Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kathleen Kennedy (Rhinebeck, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 1, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Kathleen may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Patrick Kenny and Beatrice Kenny; her husband Joseph Kennedy; and her brothers, Jack and Patrick.
She is survived by: her siblings, Mary and Thomas. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, 25 great-nieces and nephews, and one great-great-nephew.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dapson Chestney Funeral Home (51 W Market St, Rhinebeck, NY 12572). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Good Shepherd Church (3 Msgr Joy Plaza, Rhinebck, NY 12572).
