He is survived by: his mother Geraldine Bocchino Fontaine; his children, Danielle Luis (James) of Pine Bush and John Fontaine III (Lauren) of Rhinebeck; his grandchildren, Isaiah Fontaine, Jalen Fontaine, Aubrey Luis and Brielle Luis; and his siblings, Debra Paganelli, Bernadette Roche and Michele Lund. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
