He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Thomas and Loretto Ahearn (Lorden); and his sister Judith MacKown. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Boesch; his children, Michael (Sheryl Ahearn) of Chadds Ford, PA, Molly Ahearn (Bill Robinson) of Clinton Corners, NY, Sarah Ahearn (Rick Moltke) of Pearl River, NY and Margaret Ahearn Smith (Michael Smith) of Brooklyn, NY; his brother David Ahearn of Washington, DC; and his grandchildren, Sean Ahearn of New York, NY and Ryley Robinson of Rochester, NY. He is also survived by extended family, colleagues and friends.
