He was predeceased by : his parents, Harold Prout and Ernestine Prout. He is survived by : his wife Ellen A. Prout (Flood); his sons, Douglas and Joseph; his grandchildren, Richard, Nicole, Jaron and Jada; and his siblings, Phyllis Alfano, Marjorie Olds, Harold Prout and Virginia Losi. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
