George Mielich Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Mielich of Rhinebeck, New York, who passed away on December 8, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Mielich and Kathleen Mielich (Jennings); and his wife Carol White. He is survived by: his daughters, Dee Fingar of Clayton, NC, Pat Stroka of Clayton, NC and Mary Mielich of Clayton, NC; his brothers, Max Mielich of Rhinecliff, NY and Larry Mielich (Janice) of Hyde Park, NY; and his grandchildren, Chris Fingar, Bryon Fingar (Nina), Matt Fingar (Orlena), Erik Stroka and Bekky Johnson (Adam). He is also survived by seven great grandchildren; along with extended family, friends.
Memorial donations may be made in George's memory to the American Heart Association in honor of several great grandchildren, and Transitions Lifecare Hospice in Raleigh, NC.
