He was predeceased by: his parents, Reinhold Weingaertner and Jakobine Weingaertner (Blaskovsky); his wife Elizabeth Lamont (Betty); his son Emil; and his brothers, Albert and Arthur Weingaertner.
He is survived by: his children, Eddie (Melissa) of Rhinebeck and Elissa Norcross of Rochester, NH.; his grandchildren, Morgan (Adam), Keri (Tyler), Jaden Weingaertner of Rhinebeck, Daniel and Matthew Norcross of Rochester, NH; his great grandchildren, Easton, Hunter Fitzpatrick and Jayce Conley; his siblings, Inge Pulver, Hilde Christofori and Elle Fells; and also Debbie Demchuk. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Memorial donations in honor of Emil can be made in remembrance of his son Emil to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the Rhinebeck Rescue Squad or to Hudson Valley Hospice.
