He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene Whittaker (Milroy) and Ralph Whittaker. He is survived by: his son Ian; his wife Patty; his siblings, Lynn Edwards (Michael) of Williamsburg, VA, David (Holly) of Scottsdale, AZ and Keith of Williamsburg; and his mother-in-law Barbara Decker of Red Hook. He is also survived by many brothers-in-laws, sisters-in-laws, nephews and nieces and numerous friends.
Family would greatly appreciate memorial donations in honor of Duane to the American Legion Post #429, P.O. Box 429, Rhinebeck, NY, 12572.
