She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Miller and Esther Miller (Likely); her husband Gustav A. "Mort" Richard; her brother Charles Miller; her son-in-law Gary Dotterer; and her grandchildren, Richard "Ricky" Dotterer and Shawn Michael Monthie.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Richard of Hyde Park, Nancy Dotterer of Hyde Park, Paul Richard (Nancy) of Eastham and Donna Borquist (Dana) of Rhinebeck; her grandchildren, Kyle Monthie (Amanda), Cassandra Kassel (Matthew), Korey Dotterer (Deanna), Brendan Dotterer (Shannon), Carly Sheehan (Mike), Brent Richard, Bradley Borquist (Lauren) and Rebecca Borquist; her great grandchildren, Emma Sheehan, Hannah, Holly Kassel and Shawn Martin Monthie; and her sister Carol Mahoney (Donald) of Florida. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
