She was predeceased by: her parents, James A. Smith and Margaret Smith; and her daughter Laurin Aycox. She is survived by: her children, Christopher Aycox (Klara) and Karin Welling (Dave) of Gainesville, VA; her grandchildren, Radim, David, Laura, Oliver, Gabby, Emma and Samuel of Gainesville; her sister Judy; and her niece Sheri of Sarasota, FL..
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the New Comer Cremations & Funerals (343 New Karner Rd, Colonie, NY 12205). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the ACLU, Huntington's Disease Society of America, or the Gateway House of Peace would be greatly appreciated.
