We are sad to announce that on November 17, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Robert W. Humes (Rensselaer, New York). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Humes and Elizabeth McLain Humes; and his sister Jill Humes Johnston. He is survived by: his siblings, William Humes, Jeff Humes and Jane Humes VanDam; his wife Jennifer Montague Humes; his children, Jessica Humes Delgado, Melissa Humes Thacker and Christopher Robert Humes; and his grandchildren, Natalie Elizabeth Delgado, Matthew Hudson Thacker, James Robert Delgado and Benjamin McLain Thacker.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the W. J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home (1700 Washington Ave, Rensselaer, NY 12144). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that remembrances be made in the form of contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
