He was predeceased by: his father Richard E. Butterfield; his son Eric Gardner Butterfield; and his nephew Colton Butterfield. He is survived by: his mother Shirley Larkin Butterfield; his wife Cathy Bullis Robinson Butterfield of Palm Coast, Fla.; his children, Lori Larkin Lasch (Mark) of Albany and Hayden Tod Butterfield (Kelly) of Rensselaer; his daughter-in-law Roberta Butterfield of Minden, NV.; his grandchildren, Emma Stark (Connor), Robert, Grace Lasch, Hayden, Roan Butterfield, Kasha and Zoe Butterfield; his siblings, Sharon Urgento (Dennis) and R. Jay Butterfield (Kelly); and his nieces and nephews, Stacey, Ryan Urgento (Sabrina) and Spencer Butterfield.
