Mary G. Bissaillon Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary G. Bissaillon of Rensselaer, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 30, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Fernandez and Rose Mary Fernandez (Lostritto); and her brothers, John and Joe Fernandez. She is survived by: her husband John Bissaillon; her children, Diana Stevens (Gary), Catherine Carney, Jr. (Thomas) and John Bissaillon (Tina); and her siblings, Diane Hulett and Stephen Fernandez. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph Church (416 3rd St, Troy, NY 12180). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the New Rural Cemetery (330 3rd Ave Ext, Rensselaer, NY 12144).
