She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincenzo J. Darrigo and Jennie Darrigo (Jordan). She is survived by: her sister Jeannette Giannone of Springfield, IL; her children, Rich (Paul), Bernadine (Jeff), Connie, Jennifer (Todd) and Katy; her grandchildren, Marie, Amanda, Ashley, Natalie, Jeannette, Benjamin and Mia; her great grandchildren, Lucca, Noah, Jackson and Charlotte; and her pet Mason.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the W. J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home (1700 Washington Ave, Rensselaer, NY 12144). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Jr. Funeral Home (1700 Washington Ave, Rensselaer, NY 12144). A Mass will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Historic St. Mary's Church (10 Lodge St, Albany, NY 12207).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Alzheimer's research or the Teresian House Foundation in Betty's memory.
