With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edmund M. Davis Jr. of Rensselaer, New York, who passed away on November 10, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Edmund departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Edmund may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Edmund leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund M. Davis, Sr. and Addie Davis (Reed); and his wife Jean L. Davis. He is survived by: his children, Carol and Brian Davis; and his sister Betty Lehmann. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the W. J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home (1700 Washington Ave, Rensselaer, NY 12144). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the W. J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. (1700 Washington Ave, Rensselaer, NY 12144). A graveside service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 2:15 PM to 2:30 PM at the Bloomingrove Cemetery.
