He was predeceased by: his aunt Colleen Breedlove-Scully. He is survived by: his parents, Jennifer Thoennes (Otto Thoennes) and Jeff Smith (Dawn); his nephew Travis Smith; his cousins, Cameron Breedlove, Savannah Breedlove, Tyler Breedlove and Liam Breedlove-Scully; and his uncles, William and Robert Breedlove.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the W. J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home (1700 Washington Ave, Rensselaer, NY 12144). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the W. J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. (1700 Washington Ave, Rensselaer, NY 12144).

In lieu of flowers, you can make a donation to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society in Brandon's honor.
