We are sad to announce that on April 2, 2025, at the age of 81, Marie Walsh of Rego Park, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe McVeigh and Anna McVeigh; her son John; and her siblings, Jimmy Joe, Bridie, Tina and Betty.
She is survived by: her husband Ignatius Walsh; her sons, Edward (Anne) and Joseph (Kathy); her grandchildren, Sean, Ciara and Gavin; and her brother John.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Leo F. Kearns Funeral Home - Rego Park (61-40 Woodhaven Blvd, Rego Park, NY 11374). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 9:45 AM at the Our Lady of Hope Church (61-27 71st St, Middle Village, NY 11379). A burial will be held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:45 AM at the St. John's Cemetery (80-01 Metropolitan Ave, Flushing, NY 11379).
