Maria S. Rojas Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria S. Rojas of Rego Park, New York, who passed away on February 3, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Telmo Louisa and Maria Louisa; her son-in-law Brian Lowenberg; her siblings, Belisario, Manuel, Felix, Telmo, Ruth and Luisa; and her niece Patricia Rojas.
She is survived by: her children, Hector Rojas (Kristen) and Sofia Lowenberg; her grandson Liam Lowenberg; and her sister Lucy.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Donohue Cecere Funeral Directors (290 Post Ave, Westbury, NY 11590). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Hope RC Church (534 Broadway, Carle Place, NY 11514).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations in Maria's name to the Alzheimer's foundation.
