He was predeceased by: his parents, Katherine Fitzpatrick and Charles Fitzpatrick; his sister Winn O'Dell; and his siblings-in-law, Anne Brady, Marion Brady, Rebecca Larkin (Becky) and William Larkin.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Maegen, Emily, Karley, Kelsey, Jackson, Kayla and Gavin; his wife Helen; his sister Kathleen Puya (Lou); his brother-in-law Robert Brady; and his children, Timothy, Karen (Dan), Jean (Mark) and Paul (Colleen).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The New York Firefighters Burn Center Foundation, an organization Charles felt strongly about. This foundation is dedicated to the advancement of burn care, research, prevention, education, and the proper treatment of burns.
