It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Timothy J. Hegarty of Red Hook, New York, born in Rhinebeck, New York, who passed away on December 1, 2023, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Hegarty and Ann Hegarty (Kiernan); his daughter Carolyn Ann; his brother-in-law James Hare; and his aunt Margaret Kiernan.
He is survived by: his sons, Brendan Hegarty (Christie) of Clermont, NY, Ryan Hegarty (Abbey Moore) of East Greenbush, NY and Shawn Hegarty (Lauren) of Clermont, NY; his siblings, Kathleen Mohr (Russ), Daniel Hegarty (Rachel), Kevin Hegarty, Mary Hare, Patrick Hegarty (Laura) and Robert Hegarty (Theresa); his grandchildren, James, Michaela, Carolyn, Garrett and Emmett; and his aunt Katherine "Mickey" Kiernan. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Memorial donations may be made in Timothy's memory to the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome with the memo Jim Hare Scholarship Fund.
