With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Louise D Mergendahl of Red Hook, New York, born in Yonkers, New York, who passed away on April 17, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Pollock and Hattie Pollock (Tipisovsky); and her husband Gordon F Mergendahl, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Minkler (James) of Red Hook, NY, Jill Mergendahl of Bloomfield, CT and Kim Knapp of Red Hook, NY; her grandchildren, Whitney Chappell-Torchia (Ralph, Jr.), Sarah Tubbiola (Josh), Madison Knapp and Christopher Knapp; her siblings, Anna McCartney of Bayshore, NY and Robert Pollock of Clifford Beach, NJ; her great grandchild Amelia Louise Tubbiola; her grandchildren, Katie Knapp and Matthew Knapp; and her sister Lucy Conkright. She is also survived by extended family and friends.
