She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Benson and Violet Benson (Howard); her foster parents, Faye Carpenter and Bell Carpenter; her husband Paul Robert Paquette; her children, Doris E. Parkinson, Paul, Roberta P. Paquette, Pepe, LaVie of Hudson, NY, Laurie A. Paquette, Jimmy of Florida, David P. Paquette (Elaine) of Poughkeepsie, Lisa M. Paquette, Haywood of Red Hook, Penny L. Paquette, Warren of Elizaville, Jennifer Fivelsdal and Harald of Red Hook; her grandchildren, Nicole (Jason G.), Jennifer (Jason M.), Ryan Kody (Amber), Isabella, Dylan, Joanna (Trevor) and Jonathan; her great grandchildren, Madison, Haley, Caden, Evan and Theo; her brother Gus; her nephews, Adrian Duranleau and Lawrence Paquette; her niece Gisele Fleury of Vermont; and her siblings, Florence, Lizzy, Bobby, Jack and Betty. She was also cherished by many other nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations in honor of Doris may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
