He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Bachner and Dorothy Bachner (Guyett); and his siblings, Jean Golden and Donald Bachner. He is survived by: his pets, Access, Emma and Beckett; his wife Lauren Bachner (Grott); his sons, Eric Bachner (Tara Russo) and William Bachner (Taylor Cestaro); his granddaughters, Abigail and Hannah Bachner; and his siblings, Richard Bachner (Margaret), Fred Bachner and Irene Farmer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
