DeFlumer Sr. of Ravena, New York, who passed away on October 7, 2024 at the age of 84, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. In the sacred silence of farewell, Joseph is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, John DeFlumer and Catherine DeFlumer; his brother John DeFlumer; and his wife Linda DeFlumer (Wetsel). He is survived by: his children, Joseph DeFlumer Jr. of Ravena and Melissa; and his son-in-law Lucky Palmer of Greenville. He is also survived by several nieces and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Babcock Funeral Home (19 Pulver Ave, Ravena, NY 12143).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the Ravena Rescue Squad or Hospice at St. Peter's Hospital.
