He was predeceased by: his parents, John DeFlumer and Catherine DeFlumer; his brother John DeFlumer; and his wife Linda DeFlumer (Wetsel). He is survived by: his children, Joseph DeFlumer Jr. of Ravena and Melissa; and his son-in-law Lucky Palmer of Greenville. He is also survived by several nieces and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the Ravena Rescue Squad or Hospice at St. Peter's Hospital.
