He is survived by: his mother Shirley Carr (Dickson); his wife Jean; his sons, John Jr. (Sara Bonifacio) and Carlton Carter (Julia Carr); his siblings, James Jones (Tanya) of Washington, Shirley Carr (Larry) of Catskill, N. Y., Herbert Carr (Jackie) of Columbiaville, Barry Carr (Gail) of Catskill, N. Y., Linda Carr of Stuyvesant, N. Y., Emma Carr of Catskill, N. Y., Vernea Denrus of Hudson, N. Y. and Greg Thomas of Virginia; his sister-in-law Jean Hicks; his longtime employer Marilyn Schuster; and also, Lenny and Steven Schuster. He is also survived by grandchildren, nephews, nieces and friends.
