Karen Lalor wrote a sympathy message

“To Jim's family, I am Karen Lalor, the daughter of Marian O'Brien, who lived next to Jim for years. Jim was like a brother to her, a dear friend, esp. after her husband died and then Gerry died. In return for his help, she enjoyed making him sour dough coffee cakes. It was always a comfort for her to know he was there, even though they didn't see each other much. God bless and comfort you all. I knew well how much he dearly loved his family. He was a dear man.”
