He was predeceased by: his mother Josephine Burns; and his father-in-law Clifton Pemberton. He is survived by: his father Charles W. Burns; his wife Cindy L. Pemberton Burns; his sons, Michael C. and Stephen J. Burns; his grandchildren, Zachary, Matthew, Troy, Thomas, Taryn, Gabrielle and Tegan; his siblings, Joann Firstiun (Carl), Linda Thron (Rick), Maryann Leonardo, Debbie Marks (Joe) and Joseph; his mother-in-law Joan Pemberton; and his sister-in-law Michelle (Pemberton). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
