He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Whitney and Barbara Whitney (Salisbury); his son Sgt. Brian Alan Whitney; and his brother Terry L. Whitney. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Whitney (Susser); his daughter Holly Weddell (Michael); his grandchildren, Devin Alan Whitney, Piper A. and Stella R. Weddell; his sister Lori Whitney; and his siblings-in-law, Nancy Histed (Susser), Wayne Susser (Shirley) and Bruce Susser (Joann). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
