She was predeceased by: her parents, Lorenzo Gariepy and Edith Gariepy (Proux); her husband Richard D. Borkenhagen; and her sister Dorothy Jean Morton (late Allen). She is survived by: her children, Barbara Ripley (late David), Richard Borkenhagen (Patricia), Karen Quick (David), Charlotte Zito (Samuel) and Charles Borkenhagen. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
