It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Albert J. Schmidt of Ransomville, New York, who passed away on March 31, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Martha Lasker and Albert Herman Schmidt; and his sister Donna Schmidt Desso. He is survived by: his sister Linda Schmidt Lapress; and his children, Albert A. Schmidt (Valery Lavery), Debra Beutel (Richard), David J. Schmidt (Christine) and Corilyn Schmidt (James Craggs). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Contributions in Albert's memory can be made to the Wilson Volunteer Fire Company.
