He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Penfield and Beatrice Penfield (Smith); his wife Kathaleen Dorris Penfield (Groves); his son Leo Penfield; and his siblings, William Smith, Patricia Bargerstock and Dorothy Frentz.
He is survived by: his daughter Ruth Lindquist (Duanne); and his grandchildren, Timothy Lindquist (Laura), Courtney Brader (Isaiah) and Shabey Hitchcock (Keith). He is also survived by many great grand- children.
