He was predeceased by: his parents, William Whiting and Lura Mason Whiting; and his brothers, Neil, Claude and Donald.
He is survived by: his son Aaron Whiting (Amy) of Texas; and his siblings, Arnold Whiting (Rosemary) of Oswego, Donna O'Reilly (Robert) of Scriba, Lola Barber of Oswego and Janine Mays of Oswego. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
