It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ellen Blood (Randolph, New York), born in Salamanca, New York, who passed away on June 21, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Donald and Bertha Pearl Sample (Pequeen); her sons, Duane Blood and Danny Blood; her great grandchild Caleb Winship Blood; her siblings, Gertrude Mesel, Donald and John Sample; her close friend Tom Fuss; and also Nancy Blood.
She is survived by: her sons, Donald Blood Jr. (Jennifer) of Perrysburg, David Blood (Cheryl) of Little Valley, Dana Blood of Napoli, Dale Blood (Sheila) of Napoli and Darrell Blood of Cattaraugus; and her siblings, Betty Jackson of Niceville, Hazel Spence of Randolph and Ronald Sample (Debbie) of Randolph. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and step grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Mary Requested that any memorial donations be sent to the Cattaraugus or Little Valley Rescue Squads or to a charity of choice.
