With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leslie M. Sharpe Murphy (Randolph, New York), born in Salamanca, New York, who passed away on November 10, 2020 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alonzo Addison Sharpe (Sharky) and Lorraine Remington Sharpe; her husband Harold K Murphy; her stepmother Jane Marie Sharpe; and her brothers, Arthur "Bud" Baker and Timothy Baker.
She is survived by: her children, Lori-Anne Schmeltz (Charlie) of Randolph and Erik Williams (Stephanie) of Jamestown; her close friend Gary Sleight of Dansville, NY; her grandchildren, Karinah, Karighan, Kaidynce Walker, Tyler Williams, Karlee Rock, Lorelle and Maverick Schmeltz; her great grandchildren, Ryleigh Jackson and Mateo Torres; her sisters, Donna Ettelson (Mort) of Brooklyn, Pamela Baker of Leon, NY and Tina Sharpe of Steamburg; and her sisters-in-law, Diane Baker (Bud) and Cheryl Baker (Tim). She is also survived by numerous step children, step grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
A visitation and Celebration of Leslies life will be held when Covid restrictions allow her to fully honor her in the way that she deserved.
