She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon F. Horton and Clara Horton (Milroy); her husband Horton W. "Dutch" Smith; and her siblings, Lawrence Horton, Clarence Horton, Florence Stahley and Eva Blood.
She is survived by: her sons, Gary Smith (Sue) of Lakeland, GA, Stephen Smith (Kathy) of Geneseo, Roy Smith (Conney) of East Randolph, Clair Smith (Sharon) of Litchfield, NH and Dean Smith (Anne) of Tully, NY; and her sister Jean Ormond of Randolph. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren.
