She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Brown and Catherine Brown (Lautenbach); and her stepmother Phyllis Brown. She is survived by: her husband Garry G. Root; her sons, Garry Douglas (Katie Root), Matthew Wayne (Edith Root) and Steven Edward (Megan Root); her grandchildren, Delaney, Sophia, Spencer, Layla, Michael, Elisabeth and Gus; her sisters, Bettyann Prather (Bill) and Evelyn Edwards (David); her close friends, Vikki Fowler (Frank) and Dianne Sheffield (Martin); her friends, Mike Culver and Kathy; and her in-laws, Darlene and Dennis. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the East Randolph Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
