He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Arnold and Ethel Arnold (Hedrich). He is survived by: his wife Josephine Arnold (Garris); his son Patrick Arnold of Jamestown; his sister Alice Bastian of Gerry; his grandchildren, Shawn, Amy, Jolynn, Matthew and Shyann; and his great grandchildren, Saddie, David, Lorin, Alex and Myles.
Howard was a member of the Carroll Rod & Gun, a Life Member of the Ellington Rod & Gun, a Life Member of the Randolph Rod & Rod, a member of the National Rifle Association, and a member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
