He was predeceased by: his parents, John Milks and Ethel Milks; his siblings, Martha (Slater) and John; and his children, Christine Ehman (Booth), William Ehman and Scott Milks.
He is survived by: his stepdaughter Lesley Ehman (Paul); his children, Catherine (Buck), Joe (Tracy), Jason and Paul; his grandchildren, Brian, Holly, Sonya, Billy, Danny, Mikey, Jesse, Sami, David, Rachel, Clara, Christa, Jenny, Scottie, Mason, Zee, Erika, Erin and Matthew; and his siblings, Marlene (Webster), Chuck, Raymond and Sherwood. He is also survived by 30 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the VanRensselaer & Son Funeral Home (14 Church St, Randolph, NY 14772). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the After Cemetery Final Resting Place South Napoli Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, if desired, a memorial gift may be sent in Gene's memory to a charity of one's choice.
