He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. Wheeler and Bessie Ann Wheeler (Angus); his wife Faith Dodge Wheeler; his sister Dulcie Scripture; and his great grandchild Tanner McKay.
He is survived by: his siblings, Wilda Baxter of Sumner, WA and John Wheeler of Springboro, OH; and his children, David S. Wheeler (Ana) of Bradenton, FL, John M. Wheeler (Cathy) of San Diego, CA, Celeste W. Archer (late Gary) of Randolph, NY and Dulcie A. Marler (Kish) of Herriman, UT. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
