It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Hughes of Queensbury, New York, born in Glens Falls, New York, who passed away on November 15, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Sherlyn E. Hughes; and his parents, William J. Hughes Sr. and Mary Hughes. He is survived by: his children, Jina (Fred Smith), Rosalie (Gus Carayiannis) and William "Bill" J. Hughes III (Linda Law); his grandchildren, Jaylyn, Andrew Bedard, Jessalie, Mark Reichen, Katina Carayiannis, Emily Carayiannis, William J. Hughes IV, Lynsey Hughes, Jacob, Lauren Law, Jonathan Law (Courtney Barker) and Justin Law; his sisters, Ellen Mallory, Barbara Jane Eggleston and Darlene Hughes; and his brother-in-law Arvin Quarters (Nora). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
