He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter B. Purner and Genevieve Purner (Hart); his wife Jean Rich; his siblings, Walter Purner (Helen), Dick Purner, Tom Purner, Bill Purner (Jean), Paul Purner (Diane) and Mary Kexel; his nieces, Diane Manns and Judy Pagano; and his nephew Peter Purner.
He is survived by: his siblings, Elizabeth Pagano, Raymond Purner (Priscilla), Pat Purner and Frank Purner (Anne); his siblings-in-law, Arline Purner and Ron Kexel; and his niece Nancy Crawford (Bob). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
