He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard McClure and Doris McClure; his son John McClure Jr.; his grandson Lucas McClure; his siblings, Glenna Shanahan (Bill), Robert McClure and Bernard McClure (Marje); and his brother-in-law Coolige Braley.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly McClure; his sister Lois Braley; his daughter Patricia Southworth (Bob); his daughter-in-law Cathy McClure; and his grandchildren, Chauncey Southworth (Beatrix Evans), Olivia Southworth (Nico Dandini) and Sarah McClure. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
