With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan S. Walker (Queensbury, New York), born in Ticonderoga, New York, who passed away on January 24, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elwin Swinton and Stella Swinton (Noel); her brothers, Ronald Swinton and Charles Swinton; and her husband John J. Walker.

She is survived by: her children, Brian Walker (Anne) of Queensbury and Michele Walker (John Carpenter) of Queensbury; her grandchildren, Ashley Staunches, Jonathan Staunches, Catherine Walker, Matthew Walker and Evelyn Walker of Queensbury; and her cousins, Charles Swinton Jr., Kelly Swinton, Chip, Christine Lawrence, Paige, Debbie Lawrence, Bill and Christy Clairmont.

Donations can be made in Joan's name to the Women's Association at Harrisena Church, 1616 Ridge Rd., Queensbury, N.Y. 12804.
