It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Hughes of Queensbury, New York, born in Glens Falls, New York, who passed away on April 10, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John J. Goetz and Mildred E. Goetz (Wiley); and her brother John R. Goetz. She is survived by: her husband James E. Hughes; her children, J. Michael Hughes and Lisa C. Macaluso (David); her granddaughters, Jordan Rider (Hughes), Dr. Taylor Hughes and Clarissa Macaluso; and her siblings, Lois M. Carter (Willard Carter) and George W. Goetz (Karen). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and cousins.
