He was predeceased by: his parents, Grant R. Thatcher and Blanche Thatcher (Moore). He is survived by: his children, Samantha A. Thatcher of Corinth, Morgan J. Thatcher, Shannon L. Thatcher of Schroon Lake and Grant R. Thatcher of Minerva; his siblings, Grant Lynn Thatcher of Syracuse, James Richard Thatcher (Linda) of Milton, Vermont and Dorcey Lee Bennett (Richard) of Clifton Park; and his grandchildren, Rosalie Talback and Roman Wesley Mercier. He is also survived by two aunts, one niece, and several cousins.
