He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred R. Hoar and Elsie; and his brothers, Wilfred R. Hoar and Ralph C. Hoar. He is survived by: his children, J. Michael Hughes (Mary) and Lisa C. Macaluso (David); his sister-in-law Diana Hoar; and his granddaughters, Jordan (Hughes), Rider, Dr. Taylor Hughes and Clarissa Macaluso.
