With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eleanor Marie Smith in Queensbury, New York, who passed away on March 5, 2022 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles E. Curtin and Eleanor Curtin (Sullivan); her husband Paul J. Smith; her son-in-law Robert Wall; and her siblings, Katherine Corcoran, Charles Curtin, Eileen Montgomery and Joan Smith.
She is survived by: her family Queensbury; her caregiver Corps; and her children, Eleanor Wall of Owls Head, N. Y., Paul J. Smith Jr. (Sarah) of Fishkill, N. Y., Anne Gunteski (Frank) of Brick, N. J., Charles E. Smith (Sylvia) of Dalton, Mass., Margaret Wortley (Howard) of Douglaston, N. Y. and William T. Smith (Shoshana) of Baiting Hollow, N. Y.. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials take the form of donations to the Glens Falls Association for the Blind, 144 Ridge Street, Glens Falls, N.Y. 12801 or to Respect Life Ministry at the Roman Catholic Diocese of Albany, C/O Respect Life, 40 North Main Avenue, Albany, NY 12203.
