With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elaine Murphy of Queensbury, New York, born in Glens Falls, New York, who passed away on December 27, 2020 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James E. Murphy Sr. and Carrie Bennett Murphy; her husband Thomas J. Murphy; her siblings, Irene Gage, Evelyn DeRidder, Fred Murphy, James Murphy Jr. and Theresa Martindale; and her son-in-law Duncan MacAffer.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Ludwig, Karen MacAffer of Menands, Brian and Kathy Murphy of Queensbury; her brother Clarence Murphy of Waite, ME; her grandchildren, Carrie, Kyle Varney, Michael, Bradley and Meghan Murphy; her stepgrandchildren, Ann, John, Bruce and Jean MacAffer; and her great grandchildren, Callan, Gretel, Abigail Seaman, Mia, Seth and Trent Varney. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews & cousins.
No public services will take place due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
