It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edwin Joseph Simmons (Queensbury, New York), born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on October 12, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Michael and Virginia Earle Simmons (Herald); and his grandparents, John Simmons and Julia Finley. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen A. Simmons of Queensbury; his children, James Simmons of Lindenhurst, Kelly Lynch of Islip and Michael Simmons; his grandchildren, Krystal, Candace, Jenna, Cass Simmons, Katelyn Simmons and Kiera Simmons; his great grandchildren, Leah, Alaina and Benjamin of Townsend; his sister Audrey Eyerman of New Jersey; and his nieces, Donna Eyerman of New Jersey and Kim Goryeb (Jim) of New Jersey.
