With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Poette of Queensbury, New York, born in Attleboro Falls, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 4, 2021 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Hyde and Alice Whittemore; her husband David E. Poette, Sr.; and her brother Herbert T. Whittemore. She is survived by: her daughters, Laura Fogg (Shane), Melody Casey (Ryan) and Cheryl Poette (Alan); her stepchildren, David Poette, Jr., Linda Melendez (Gabe) and Barbara Poette; her grandchildren, Ashlee T. Mahoney (Kyle), Joshua Fogg, Kiera Fogg, Stefan Poette and Dylan Dingman; her great grandchildren, Landon, Olivia Mahoney and Angelo Rodrigues; her nieces, Susan Whittemore and Bonnie Whittemore; her nephew Herbert Whittemore; and her pets, Mitts and Sweetie. She is also survived by her daughters, stepchildren, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, friends and husband.
